"Oh, what fun on peppermint lane!" & oh, what fun it was!

This past weekend I enjoyed taking photos at my children's elementary school. Our principal, Dr. Scott, went above and beyond to make this event an amazing one for our entire community! There were over 30 vendors! Making it a perfect stop for Christmas shopping! Everything from crafts to clothes! I made sure to take some time and do some shopping to support local vendors from the community!

Fun for the whole family!

Not only was there shopping, there was extra fun for the whole family! Some of the things included: a chinese auction, a spectacular hot chocolate bar, jingle bell rock shop, letters to Santa, pizza, Comet's feed shop, funnel cake & more!! The best part: all the proceeds went directly back to the students!!

My job

So my job came in when it came to photo opportunities! And oh my gosh, did we have some of the coolest photo ops! Thanks to Riches Farms we had a pretty cool faux tree farm! It was so cute. I got some of the cutest photos there! Such a great, easy & afforable way to grab a family photo or a shot for your Christmas card! I am so glad people came and took advantage! I even got to photograph some of my favorite clients! I love that they came out to support me!

Another popular photo spot, or just a spot to stop and play was the train! I loved hearing the story behind how Dr. Scott got this train. It reminds me of the polar express and its super magical for all the kids! It's a hit!

Santa Claus came to town!

The star of the show was Santa! So many kids came to see him and tell them what they want for Christmas! I love photographing kids with Santa. It's always comical and magical! Santa was jolly and took his time talking to each kid. He sat in the most beautiful old sleigh! Such a perfect place for a photo! Even a pup came to see Santa! He was so sweet and definitely on the nice list!!

Here is what some clients had to say about their experience:

"Robin is a phenomenal photographer with a knack for getting the perfect shot. She goes above and beyond to create the most memorable holiday photos.

We saw Santa at Marshall Elementary this year with my husband, and two boys. This year my oldest son was a bit apprehensive, but Robin did a great job with getting him next to the sleigh to get a great family photo of us all. Robin continues to do a great job with all aspects of photography and is the best around at what she does. I highly recommend her to any family looking for a professional, yet friendly and caring photographer." -K. Conkle

"I attended the vendor show at Marshall elementary school. It was so sweet to see all the Christmas photo areas set up for family to have pictures of their children taken. The photographer was smiling and engaging the families as they arrived. What a great way to be greeted !!" - B. Kerr

I am grateful.

I am so thankful my kids are a part of such an amazing school. I can't explain how lucky we all are at Marshall to have Dr. Scott along with all the other staff. It truly is like a family. Dr. Scott teaches not only our children but us adults about how important community is! I am so glad I got to be a part of capturing these memories and smiles for these families. Next year the plan is to be even bigger! If you didn't get a chance to check it out--put it on your calendar for 2022!
